Hi guys....just a quick question and I am asking it here as I know you who visit this forum use this book.
What is your opinion of sportsbook.com.au?
I know I asked before, but I need some more concrete answers. I asked them about opening an account and the reply I received said that they don't want to offer a legal opinion, and whilst they believe wagering online is illegal in the U.S., if I find it is legal in my locality, then they will accept bets from me.
Are they reliable? Do they pay out? Has anyone had any stalling, flat-footing, or troubles with them? Do you think they would stiff an out-of-Australia customer?
Thank you in advance for your replies guys.

Thanks Miracle. Anyone on here, showme, rizzo, etc. who have an account with them can vouch for them? Heard they were regulated by the NSW Gov't. since 1997 or something.....???

I have an account with them but rarely use it. better going with Sportingbet.com.au, Sportsbet.com.au, centrebet.com.au, Sportstab.com.au or one of the others.
Why do you want to open an account with them mate ?

Thanks ecoute. I want to be able to wager on the variety of AFL bets out there (1H, Margins, 1234, etc...) and not just the full-game line. My book doesn't do those types of wagers.

i have used them for years and never had a problem.
the only thing i don't like is that they can take a while to approve bets and will reject them if lines are moving which means you can miss opportunities elsewhere.
i prefer sportsbet.com.au, betchoice, domebet and racing odds just got taken over and has gone to $1.93 lines in AFL.

Sportsacumen has too many hoops to jump through for International clients.
Sportsbook looks the best, but the responce I received from them was that my CC statements would show something like "AUS Sportbook" or something similar..........which is just a little bit of a tip-off to my banks where that money is going and coming. Technically, they are obliged by U.S. Federal Law to block that transaction, but will they?
Maybe.
Not worth the risk of them blocking it and then I have a bunch of $$$$ sitting in an overseas book rotting away.

Centrebet is no good. No Yankees.
