India cruised to a six wicket win in the opening match and in the process successfully chased the highest total in a day game in Dambulla. The Indian batting order shares responsibility, and will only become stronger in welcoming back Sehwag for this match. Sri Lanka did have a number of missed chances that could have turned the game, but they relied too heavily on Jayasuriya for runs (107).
India will be better for the run, any rustiness should have been played out in the last match. They are an efficient outfit and despite how much I dislike their lack of sportsmanship, I don't see them losing this match.

Thanks for your contribution Rod, I agree with your reference to Sri Lanka's record at the Concrete bowl.
Sri Lanka's ODI record at the Stadium is 45 - 19, although the record between these 2 teams in 2008 was 2 - 1 in favour of India. However, the stadium appears to be kind to any team who wins the toss in a day night-match: since 2000, the team calling correctly has won 20 out of 28 ODIs that have produced a decisive result (71.43%). The pitch favours the batsmen more than Dambulla does, and whilst spinners usually have success at the ground I believe that the Indian top order can handle the dangerous pair of Sri Lanka.
The winner of the toss is likely to bat first as the ball tends to swing, seam and spin more under lights at this stadium when compared to afternoon conditions. Nonetheless, I have confidence that the Indian batting order will fire even if chasing, after all they did break a record in chasing in the first match. I wouldn't however be critical of those that wait until the toss before pressing go on either side.
Good luck Rod

India win the toss and elect to bat. Good bowling from Maharoof and Muttiah Muralitharan and a couple of dodgy umpiring decisions restricted them to 256. Whilst Sri Lanka were in trouble for 3 / 36, Kandamby's 93 not out brought the home team close but were all out for 241.

[Can't wait for the League season Rod, definitely there!]
