A new season starts tomorrow, the best time of the year if you're living in Australia.
Last year we did not keep any specific record but would have made quite a bit of money, so will be looking to keep on this year.
My first play of this year, Round 1, and possibly my only play this round is the following:
GOLD COAST SUNS -34.5 against ESSENDON BOMBERS
This is one of the most baffling lines I have ever seen. I would have thought anything between -60 or -70 would have been a more suitable line, and I am a lifelong Bombers supporter.
Let's look at a few things:
1) For those not in the know, Essendon was found guilty of doping/drug use and essentially their entire team have been banned for this entire season. It's the biggest story in AFL history and Essendon have had to string together a bunch of leftover players just to field a team.
2) Home game for Gold Coast where they play extremely well
3) Gold Coast have the best player that I have ever seen play in Gary Ablett Jr, he will cop the Crowley tag bit that won't matter
That's enough for me, if this one doesn't win then this is the biggest example of a trap in the history of betting!
