Hi guys
Two very good games/matches in my opinion.
The first match is played saturday and the second match is played on sunday.
Viborg HK (Denmark) - Larvik (Norway): Viborg HK
I don't think that there are many other places on Earth where handball is more popular than Denmark and eastern Europe.
The Danish handball (for women) league has been known as the best for many years know, although do to the finansial crisis a lot of clubs has been forced to say goodbye to a lot of stars. But it is still among the top 4 Leagues.
The Danish team, Viborg HK, is taking on the defending Champions League champions from Norway, Larvik.
The main reason I believe in Viborg is because of their roster and the fact that they play at home. Viborg HK also get Varzaru back from injurie which will make the team a lot better.
Larvik has undergone some huge changes before this season. They have lost one of the best Line Players/pivots in the world, Heidi Løke. Playmaker Gro Hammerseng (Best Player in The World 2008) is pregnant.
Before this match the Larvik team has struggled with injuries to right wing Nora Mørk, the former Best Player of The World goaltender Cecilie Leganger, defender Tonje Larsen and finally Katja Nyberg. All players who has won several goldmedals for Norway.
Only Cecilie Leganger is pretty sure to play. The others could be spared.
Odds is 2.00 at Betway.
HC Podravka Vegeta - RK Krim Mercator Ljubljana: RK Krim
Podravka from Croatia is hosting Krim from Slovenia.
Podravka has been known as a very good team but that is a couple of years ago know. Today thay still has a good team but not a world class team in my opinion.
They didn't manage to keep one of Croatias biggest talents who went to another club called RK Krim Mercator Ljubljana a couple of years ago!
For this season they have lost important players like Maja Zebic and Croatian national Pasicnik.
The only new 'star' player they got was Horwat.
Krim has lost Andrea Lekic who is one of the biggest talents in Europe. But they have got 3 stars in return: Franic, Mehlmann and Acimovic. Furthermore, two others players has found their way to Krim: Seric and Danish Kristina Bille.
The new players mixed with the 'old' players makes this team a very strong one.
The two teams met eachother in the Champion League groupstage last year and Krim won both matches. At home 26-22 and away 35-30.
As I see it Krim is stronger and Prodravka a slighty weaker.
Odds on Krim is at 2.35 @ Unibet.
