5Dimes has a regular season game up tomorrow - Towson at Hopkins. I just killed the NCAA Tourney last year, as 5D has no idea how to line lax games. I actually thought they did a pretty good job with this one - JHU -4.5 / 17.5. The whole world took Hopkins, and it's now something like -170, with Towson at +130.
Now JHU has won 38 of the 41 between these two, including 18 straight, but I'm just not buying this Hopkins team. I didn't like them last year, and I don't think this team is a big step up. They won every face-off last week and still needed three OT's to beat a decent Ohio State team.
Homewood's not a hard plaec to play, and it's right down the road from TU. It will be cold, and largely empty. TU might have as many fans/groupies there as the Jays. Towson girls, by the way, are.
This is a game Hopkins always wins, and they'll probably win this one too, but I just can't let that Towson +500 ML go by. A half unit on that, anbd a fulll one on Towson +4.5 +130. I'll make the Blue Jays prove me wrong. I'm still playing with house money from my Albany ML wager at Homewood last year anyway.
