I am look at tonights game and going to use a rule I commonly use and nothing more.
 
When two bottom of the league teams play each other the total will go OVER. I know that the Weagles aren't scoring well but I am expecting both these teams to have a crack. LeCras isn't a bad inclusion he can kick a couple too.

Not sure mate, took this from another forum:

"Essendon got lucky v. Carlton (-7 I50's) but somehow managed to hold up defensively...lucky v. Crows to even get close (-14 I50's and 10 less shots)...otherwise haven't got withing 5 goals of anyone in last 10 games.
They've also lost their last 5 at the Dome by av. 56!
Looking at an under...one thing the Bombers have done is slow things down. Season I50's are 48-63...last 4 is 39-53! Big difference.
Eagles av. just 66 points on the road."

Well I could be wrong it is gambling after all.

Bombers have not been scoring as much but this has been due to their injuries, competition and reliance on an out of form Lloyd kicking goals. That is your inside 50's. The pieces are slowly coming back and I would expect the Dons coach to not play defensive footy because of that. Inside 50's will go up.

Don't read anything into their losses at TD consider the opposition and the Dons injuries - Hawks, Port (during their brief run), Saints (Met them during their brief run too), Dogs and Cats. In other words 3 loses to the top 3 teams and 2 to the teams on good runs. btw not saying the Dons are good enough to beat these teams now.

I am not sure why you say they have slowed things down apart from not having an effective forward line to kick to. I don't see anything in their approach in watching Dons games to suggest the coach is slowing it down. Maybe you are seeing or considering something I don't know about.

The Weagles have some good inclusions and for them it is more a gut feel. I am considering the game against Port where Port decided to run and gun. The Weagles with their 'pathetic' team scored quite heavily.

What is interesting about this game is that the figures you presented are easily available by all punters. People know the scoring woes of the Weagles yet the game opened at 209.5 and has been moving up. Linemakers and the public aren't always right but it would appear both thinking there will be scoring tonight. Anyhow as I said it is gambling

Good stuff mate. I don't put money on games but I heard with a few minutes to go and if I did have money it would have been brown pants time

FUDGE!  Tipped the Weagles and I Kerr pull-out killed me!  ARGH!  Didn't have any money on that game, but the tips matter man!

You have to be listening to the pre-game coverage to hear anything HOH....................... who has the time? Some guy suspected on another forum that P-C was looking at and he was right. As soon as they said Kerr and Lovett were out big under play.

Mate, I've been saying for years, I cannot understand, besides the lack of exposure, why more Americans don't take to Aussie Rules?  Americans love three things in their sport:  speed, scoring, and violence.  That's it.  We want those three things.  We are very simple in our wants and needs.  And the big question is:  Does AFL have them?  Boatloads!!!  So why don't more Americans take to it?  Must be lack of exposure.

I tell all my friends, once you watch an AFL game live, you will wonder the same thing.  Once I watched one, back in elementary school, and I never forgot it.  When I got older, I got back into it and have been ever since.

"Small game?"  Perhaps, but second best sport in the world, only behind rugby in my opinion.  Nothing beats a bunch of tins of Dark and Stormies and rooting on the Swannies.

Unless it's a bunch of tins of Dark and Stormies and rooting on the Roosters.



I will continue to spread the Aussie Rules word over here buddy.
