* will also have a little on Perth ML, very tough ask for Dandenong tonight on the back-ender an Adelaide-Perth "doomsday double".

round was a bit of a fizzer but nothing compared to the performance of the Perth Lynx in the above game against Dandenong. They got rolled 110-38  . Now to put an even bigger slant on that scoreline, Dandenong played a tough match in Adelaide the night before, then flew to Perth for a match against the rested Lynx 24 hours later.
 
These teams were only one win apart on the ladder, and while the Rangers are, personel wise, a better & deeper team, the brutal schedule they faced for that Perth game had me tipping them to go close to, if not losing the game straight up.  
 
But it certainly didn't play out that way, and while i didn't actually see the game, it's pretty clear from that scoreline that Perth "turned it up", tanked, call it what you will. Now that's a pretty un-Australian thing to do, and those girls need to take a pretty long hard look at themselves this week.
 
The last thing basketball in this country needs is another reason for the general public to do this   at the product.
