The National Basketball LeagueAfter a wonderful Saturday here in North America, or Sunday for you Aussie's, we are left with one beautiful basketball game left to wager on! Our feature match up for tonight is the ShowTime (or lack thereof) Hawks versus the Perth (we can shoot the 3) Wildcats!
The line for tonight's match up is currently at:
Wollogong Hawks +5 / Perth WildCats -5
Over/Under 165
Tonight is the last game from Round 10 of 25, and is being played not in Perth, but in WOLLOGONG!!!!!!
Back in Round 5 (five), Perth defeated Wollogong by a whopping 16 points. Keep in mind, this defeat was in Perth.
And again in Round 7 (seven), Perth once again defeated Wollogong by 16, but this time, their triumph occured in Wollogong!
Both games totaled right around where the over/under is set for tonight. With Round 5 totaling 158, and Round 7 totaling 156 respectively.
Will tonight be any different?

There are many questions to be answered tonight and there is only one place with the answer.
The problem is, I do not know where this place is.
Tonight, I believe we are going to be looking at a high intensity game from the Wollogong Hawks. Having only won one (1) of their last 4 games, they need a victory tonight. The thing is, every team needs a victory every weekend in the NBL. That is what makes this league so great.
In both of their matches this year, Perth has scored 8 three pointers on 22 attempts.
These three's usually came in bunches, and caused large momentum shifts in the games. In both games, Perth was able to grab 16 offensive rebounds in each game, or 32 total. Wollogong was only able to pull down a pitiful 13 offensive rebounds, with five coming in Round 5, and eight coming in Round 7.
Can Wollogong do a better job on the boards tonight?

Perth dominated the points in the paint for both games, racking up a combined 84 (yes, 42 in both rounds). Wollogong through two matches has only scored 36 in the paint.
Wollogong is giving up about 23 turnovers a game to Perth. This is too many if they want to win. They will need to value every possession tonight, and I'm not sure if they can. Last week, the Hawks only racked up 11 turnovers and lost the game by 1 point.
I would like to think that Wollogong can keep this one within 5 points. Push is coming to shove for Wollogong, and Perth is one of the top tier teams in the NBL. They can use this game at home to build some momentum going into next weeks match up versus Adelaide.
I would like to think that this game goes UNDER the posted total of 165.
