Canada is very underrated coming into this tournament.....because two of their bast players are not playing....Wiggins (declined) and Olynyk (injury). They still have some quality players and players unfamiliar to everyone else....
They finished their European tour at 4-1...and played quite well, defeating Italy 74-71 and out rebounding them 51-33.
They have very good speed and have shot the ball well....they have Brady Heslip who can shoot the ball from 3....watch for the Scrubb brothers....they are very good ball players....especially Philip.
France should be favoured to win the event....but at -410? I'm not so sure.....no, I'm not biased....I'm usually critical of Canada basketball and they should have already qualified for Rio, but blew the game against Venezuela, a team they beat by 20 earlier in the tournament.
I guess we'll get a better idea in a few hours.....
