Watched the Hawks @ Taipans game last night, gotta say the Taipans did not look good at all and they kept letting the Hawks back into the game. Good game though and glad that the NBL has betting broadcasting rights this year for TV.
Melbourne United @ Townsville Crocs: Over 80.5 1H
During the pre-season, Melbourne jacked up an average of 31 treys per game, the Crocs only 10. In saying that though, Melbourne have ex NBA import Jakim Warwick in their team now and he has promised the NBL to bring some excitement to this league. I expect a fast paced 1H. Shop around for this line as I have seen 82.5 at some places but my book has 80.5 right now. Melbourne in pre-season hit 97 points per game, and allowed 80 but I don't like taking road fav's on opening night. I will just hope for plenty of points in the 1H. Last 3 games have hit over this mark in the 1H and hoping for that to continue.

36ers are the real deal this season. Pumped NZ opening night. Looking to take advantage of a Perth team not the same as last season. Last night the home dog (Crocs) didn't cover but I think tonight we see the first home dog win and cover the spread.

Sydney Kings look amazing on offense and that is without Childress.
Flying Rod.. Might hit 60 in the 1H and its scary to think what they will be like with Childress back as well. Them and Melbourne have tremendous value this season. I think Perth fall from grace this season and NZ have lost players. Time for some new teams to dominate this league.

Well that was a pathetic last 5 mins from the 36ers. Wildcats still look like their usual self. Anyways, grabbing this line for tomorrow's game. 1-1 so far this Round.
United look good this season, both teams are coming from QLD after opening games up there. Always like to think it helps the home team rather than the away team coming from QLD down to Melbourne. Only 2-3 hour flight but the Hawks were made to look good in game #1 vs the Taipans as the Taipans aren't as good this season as last. Small line considering United were -4.5 on the road in Townsville last night. Warwick to light up the court, this time for his first home game for Melbourne.

Was on the wildcats at -1.5 and they really owned the last three minutes. Hard to get excited about Nbl. They need to bring back the Tigers, Giants or spectres

Completely Agree Tigers.. NBL has fallen so far away after the Carfino, Uthoff, Copeland era. Its a shame because we have talent but the real good ones go to the NBA and other places to make the bigger dollars. Nice hit on the Wildcats mate. They definitely owned the last few mins. Was that a 14-0 run?
