Took some time away from these leagues.
Will update record
Townsville Fire @ Adelaide Lightning: Lightning -9.5
nice to hear from you aussie
what's your view on wildcats vs melbourne?
i sens a high scoring game, despite the scoring rampage has fallen drastically in the nbl the last few weeks.

Nice to see you as well mate.
Perth hasn't been at home for almost a month and I agree, there should be some points in this game, the only thing I worry about is a blowout score like the last time they played in Perth. Cotton playing his 100th for the Cats tonight and Plumlee is a great pick up for them.

A lot of the afternoon card I like which could be a bad thing given how I have read this season so far;
Both Kings and the Phoenix have had some travel, with the Kings returning from NZ yesterday and the Phoenix flying in from Perth. Perth a little over 5 hours from Sydney, NZ around 3 but still that might not seem much but little preparation for this game for both teams. Big IN is Andrew Bogut for the Kings, he missed the NZ game and returns today. When you look at the Phoenix over the last 7 games, they have only won 2 of those 7 and that was against Hawks (both games). They have struggled to beat the top teams which IMHO is the Kings, Taipans and Perth. They are 1-6 S/U against those 3 teams and could easily be 0-7 against those teams if it wasn't for Robertson going clutch in that final 24 seconds against Taipans back on 15 December which they won the game in OT. Have to take the Kings with top spot on the line as Perth is breathing down their necks and the Kings play both Melbourne and Perth soon.
South East Melbourne Phoenix @ Sydney Kings: Kings -6.5
Got the line with Beteasy here in Oz, some books showing -7.5 already. I would still take this line up to -9.

Now turning my attention to the ladies.
Fire and Lynx are both out of playoffs contention and the top 4 has already been decided and we till have plenty of weeks to go. Crazy. Top 4 seeding is now the only thing really to be decided. No play on the Fire/Lynx game because dead rubber games in this league can be hard to watch, you might see a 90 point 1H and then potentially a 60 point 2H. The other game is interesting, Flyers coming off an easy win yesterday against Bendigo and the Capitals off a massive win against the Boomers on Friday night. Canberra would have come down to Melbourne yesterday and not sure if the Flyers stayed over night in Bendigo or not. But the Capitals have been ordinary since Griffin went down with her injury, Mitchell is a little weapon and the last time they played in Dandenong (Southside's home court) the Capitals caught the Flyers in a horrible scheduling spot. Southside got their revenge with a win in Canberra and broke Canberra's amazing home court run. Flyers have lost O'Hea, but the Capitals just lost Griffin and also Froling now, as Froling broke her nose the other night vs Melbourne. Also note, its Chambers (Flyers coach) number 250th game as coach. Flyers haven't clinched top spot yet, if they lost all 3 games and lose this one and Canberra win all their games, Canberra would clinch top spot. I expect the Flyers to really dial in on this game and take advantage of an injury struck Capitals teams.
Canberra Capitals @ Southside Flyers @ Flyers -5.5
