Special counsel Jack Smith moved to abandon two criminal cases against Donald Trump on Monday, acknowledging that Trump’s return to the White Housee will preclude attempts to federally prosecute him for retaining classified documents or trying to overturn his 2020 election defeat.

His appeal of the Florida judge’s decision to nix the classified documents case against him related to his handling of classified materials after leaving the White House... (boxes at Mar-a-Lago) and obstructing FBI efforts to retrieve them.
,,,,,and four-count criminal case, which accused Trump of attempting to subvert the results of the 2020 election ( Federal election subversion) through his actions during the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.
Before election, Trump lawyers repeatedly failed to have his cases dismissed in court because of merit. But his delay tactics worked to deny justice and rule of law. Now presidential immunity prevents the cases from going forward. Future historians won't view kindly a flawed system that failed to hold a twice impeached convicted felon accountable.

there is no way in hell any of his cases were getting dismissed without his judges and him winning the election. Those cases were a grenada
