Much like Don Juan's undocumented streak, I am sorry that this can't be documented, but, I swear it's true
A truly remarkable streak...........
Sure, there was no internet back in the early 70's, but, I clearly remember predicting the outcome on Mrs. Tussler's blackboard
The following year, on Mr. Pratt's blackboard.
The next year in Vinnie Cacciola's yearbook The next few years Vinnies "godfather" ( Vinnie the chin ) made me give him my play..."or else" APK continued to win
Into the 80's APK was still distributing his Lakers play.....and STILL WINNING
Thankfully Al Gore then invented the internet, where APK could post his plays, and hundreds...then thousands....then millions...now hundreds of millions....could keep track of APK's remarkable streak.
APK has continued to post his LA Lakers plays on the first game played after the Superbowl, and continued to win.
From 2001 until APK first joined covers in 2008, APK posted these plays on wagerline. Then wagerline merged with covers and APK became aware of covers as a website
APK then decided to join in November of 2008
The last 2 years APK had no opinion on the first Lakers game after the Superbowl but, this year is ready to go for his 40th straight prediction

Vinnie the chin has since passed, but, others have taken his spot.
APK doesn't wish to provide too many people this winner too soon, or some people with names that end in vowels may get involved and convince the team I select to miss a few baskets
