posting tips on forums for free is a different universe from selling those tips

a) upset paid for punters take the head fuck to another level = if you winning it will be about missing lines and prices, about when tips were sent out, about what bookmakers are quoted, if you losing, well then they get real pissed and real nasty.

b) people who will subscribe then re-sell the tips for pennies compared to the tipsters subscription. tipster thinks he has x amount of clients, those clients complain about moving prices and lines real quick after tips posted = the reason ? the re-seller will have many more clients he selling the tips to than the real tipster has.

c) bookies up their game on the pysop front against successful tipsters. 

d) all the above adds pressure to the tipster, their form can deteriorate as a result, vicious circle ensues.

you have to have very tough skinned and you have to be aware of all the above, and that is learnt pretty much only through expereincing it

good luck to the fella, but its better to remain for free , avoid the pressure, make your dough through your betting and benefit from good feeling of those that follow you. only a very few can come through being a paid for tipster for a sustained period and not have lost too much of your mental health and other things. there is a balance and going pro will test that balance down to the last fibre

good story, they can be a lot more horrific, its a nightmare waiting right round the next corner, and every corner thereafter. much much better to stay betting (and posting for free if you want the interaction)
