I hated the NBA pre covid and I definitely will not continue watching or even betting lite bets on it.

I still remember when that Wisconsin team that started 4 white guys beat that Undefeated Kentucky team that started 5 Black Guys and was 38-0. 

see....this shouldn't be about race and that's what the boycott is making more a point of.  i also think the season should be canceled as i don't see how this will help the situation only bring out more racists making racist remarks.  there's no way to get around this really tough situation.

again, ONLY talking about the boycotting of games NOT the situation at hand.  

I dont know. Remember the times when we all were told to not talk about politics at the dinner table because opposing views will get heated? Well that old advice is right, and the NBA is trying way to hard to talk Politics when its focus should be on putting out the best product that they can. 

Until players start sacrificing some paychecks it's all a hollow gesture.

Bingo.......Lets see where they are at then....If they really believed in it they would forgo everything....all fluff until owners cut paychecks off.

I wonder where their disgust and outrage is when 5 and 6 year old kids are getting gunned down and executed every weekend here in Chicago.And they hold a lot of influence,and not a word trying to stop it,not a f'in peep.They aint boycotting no games then.I dont see the names of "KIDS SHOT" on these players jerseys.

Then you got all this equality and racial things on the uniforms.Then the Doncic incident happens,and things are totally different with guys saying racial stuff,then its just cause it was a competitive surrounding and was just trash talking.All the black guy has to do is say hes sorry,and no harm no foul.And the only black player or ex player i heard saying what if a white guy had said it to a black guy was Charles Barkley.And Shaq and Kenny Smith are up there saying "there are no if's",it dont matter what would have happened if a white player had said it.Same thing with the nick cannon situation,they dont want nobody saying anything about their race,but its supposed to be perfectly fine for them to say anything they want about other races.

Why sacrifice checks. Reinvest. And some do but i'm talking grand scale. Youth centers. Scholarships. Fuck cars. Fuck jewelty. Just sayin...

the NBA players make an exorbitant amount of money.  they will get paid even if they boycott and yes, i will agree with most that they shouldn't.  but they want to ensure the focus is put squarely on what is going on and not with the distraction of the games.  that's why they won't play.  the problem is, and it's really a tremendously complicated problem, that no matter how many games they decide to sit out, things will not change without it coming from the top.  and I'm not talking about the top of the NBA or even collective paid athletes.  it will take change at a leadership level.

in my opinion, and it's only my own opinion, if they want change they should donate the game money they are all raking in and use it for social impact, however they decide that will be.  however many games they boycott, that sum will go directly into a pool until all players are back on the floor.  those that want to continue to forego the salary, are really just making their voice heard louder b/c it will be applied more to the pool designed to put money in the people who can correct what is happening.

i believe that's a fair and very classy way of handling this.  but I also know it won't happen.

NBA players should start their own LEAUGE like Kyrie & Lavar Ball tried to do but most of the NBA players still have a slave mentality. These guys generate billions if not trillions of dollars. They have all the talent to start their own shit & not depend on these billionaire white owner for anything. These athletes are getting robbed blind. Lebron James will make 150 million dollars over 4 years while the owners make billions. Without the athletes these owners will lose so much revenue it’s not even funny. P. Diddy has a t.v network and I’m pretty sure all the sponsors will follow the players with their new LEAUGE because that’s where the money is. I just don’t get why these million dollar athletes don’t create their own shit & then they can really start to help the people from their communities like a Chicago. Lavar had the right idea just went about it wrong . STOP DEPENDING ON THESE WHITE OWNERS & CREATE YOUR OWN.
