MLB '09 YTD: 4-0
Not a lot of time to cap these games today, with my Grandma coming in from Las Vegas. Still I see some value out there for the early matchup. Here are my leans.
-- CHC/MIL UNDER 8 (+105) -- The Cubbies have not reached the Friendly Confines just yet and their offensive output has suffered. Geovany Soto is OUT, Fuku is IN today.
Harden in limited work is 1-0 vs. the Brewers with an ERA of 1.50. I'd wager that he is better now early in the season than late... that guy just can't stay away from the injury bug.
Looper has always played the Cubs tough throughout his career... that doesn't change today. In fact, that is one of the reasons why the Brewers picked him up in the first place... to battle their nemesis. Braden has an ERA of 1.75 vs. the Ositos in 8 career starts.
