Just a head’s up. MLB’s got it hands full in this game. On paper, the teams are evenly pretty evenly matched since Springer is out for Toronto. But let’s look deeper. The game is on ESPN so we already KNOW Tristan McKenzie will not be taking the loss for Cleveland because of the color of his skin. But also MLB is chomping at the bit to make an example of James Karinchak and his refusal to get the Covid vaccine so we could see a Cleveland bullpen blow the lead. Add to that it’s Vladimir Guerrero bobble head day. But then we go back to Cleveland who MLB will be doing its best to help make the playoffs due to their declining attendance and ratings since changing their team name. A lot to think about but I know the winner is in there somewhere.
if I had to guess, Vladdy has a big game but the Jays lose but if he has a poor game the Indians bullpen blows the lead and the Jays win.
