So with football teams in Pac 12 gone except for 2, do basketball teams go as well? or  does basketball make enough money for those it matters to at those schools?

Yes basketball is included, so UCLA/USC/Oregon/UW all will play basketball in Big10.  Not sure about smaller sports like baseball or volleyball as of yet.
