It is really bad down here with kids filling up our children hospitals. Our neighbors, a doctor and a nurse, haven't had a day off in 45 days. Their co-workers are walking zombies who are fed up with those who won't get vaccinated but yet continue to spread the disease that keep the ICU beds filled.
It's not going away.

They don't have the US data on that since Delta has moved in. Sample size data to look at is Israel and the Barnstable County, Mass. case based on 469 cases of Covid associated with multiple summer events and large public gatherings held in July in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, which encompasses Cape Cod and is just outside Martha’s Vineyard. The events were held in Provincetown, according to NBC News. Approximately three-quarters, or 74%, of the cases occurred in fully vaccinated people who had completed a two-dose course of the mRNA vaccines or received a single shot of Johnson & Johnson’s.
Israel reporting Pfizer and BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine is just 39% effective in Israel where the delta variant is the dominant strain, but still provides strong protection against severe illness and hospitalization, according to a new report from the country’s Health Ministry. The efficacy figure, which is based on an unspecified number of people between June 20 and July 17, is down from an earlier estimate of 64% two weeks ago and conflicts with data out of the U.K. that found the shot was 88% effective against symptomatic disease caused by the variant.
However, the two-dose vaccine still works very well in preventing people from getting seriously sick, demonstrating 88% effectiveness against hospitalization and 91% effectiveness against severe illness, according to the Israeli data published Thursday. Moderna was reportedly something up in the 70% range of effectiveness.
We'll start to get a lot more data here in the next few weeks

Hey Karen, would you care to speak with the manager?

Case counts don't tell the whole story. Key facts not mentioned are the few hospitalizations and no deaths. Massachusetts proves vaccines are very effective in reducing serious illness. If every state is as highly vaccinated as Massachusetts, US would be in great shape! Overall, 99% of all deaths and hospitalizations occur in unvaccinated population.
Public health experts aren't too concerned about case counts because fully vaccinated people are protected against serious illness. When vaccinated population far outnumber unvaccinated population, fewer unvaccinated people can be infected but more vaccinated people can be infected. So if population is 100% vaccinated, 100% of all infections are among vaccinated population and 0% in unvaccinated population.

and my post was in response to Mr. Hogan's question of "were they all vaccinated" that he asked from the OP
I simply stated that the data with regards to the OP's information was not yet available so I provided the only data that is available regarding fully vaxxed confirmed delta cases. Case counts have ZERO to do with the OP, Mr. Hogan's question nor my post.
