It's sad to start out and say this review will not sit well with the uneducated, the untraveled or the ugly racists that dwell amongst us of ALL backgrounds, but this has to stop! It's a downward spiral down a dirty worm hole. This film looked funny during preview, it has Q Latifah and Ludacris. It looked like a good B movie Friday Netflix date night, but so far from that. The cast leaves LA for Houston via road trip and construction detours them to a death valley like road and they are THE ONLY CAR ON THE ROAD!!! It was a highway detour and one car travels EAST???
It lets your mind wander how a Black family travels outside of city limits. I knew exactly how this story line was going and it would end one of two ways. Guy gets killed or Guy gets blamed for a crime(wrong place wrong time).....Well I know that Queen Latifah or Chris Bridges would never, ever ever agree to film a B movie. Unless....yes
Directed by Millicent Shelton, written by Christopher J. Moore and David Loughery, and produced by Tracey Edmonds, Mark Burg, and Brad Kaplan.
So Black director, both Black and White writers(to avoid the race shit), and produced by 3 White guys just in case the film bombs. AND IT DID. THE MOVIE SUCKED
Before anyone gets their panties all in a bunch, watch the movie first. EVERY SINGLE WHITE PERSON in the movie is white trailer trash or motel living, corrupt cop, white supremacists, two teenage boys looking for some ass who turned into road rage, at the gas station its black/white. Kinda sounds like real life right? or so the media, facebook, twitter, or whatever platform you look at in your matrix world tracks you and spews the agenda.
I didn't write it, I didn't film it, but I did view it. Happy February, stop blaming and LOOK INWARD!

Double standards happen, sometimes unprovoked. Then a double standard movie is made, and no one sees it?
Think about this, there will never be another blazing saddles remake. Never another smokie and the bandit, never any airplane/naked gun movie. You cannot portray any group anymore funny or not unless its cops or government in a movie. Watch Spaceballs and tell me they can make that movie again. Why remake it? And why remake princess bride? But that's all they have now is to remake shit cause the story/ plot lines are crushed.

That's part of growing older and wiser...the obsession with movies and remakes and sequels only further fuels these corporate greedy brainwashers to continue brainwashing and grooming the youth of society with subliminal messages of sexual content that has caused many problems in today's society. It will only get worse.

Id actually like to see a fresh brit movie, but as long as the sound moves with the lips. N flix in America has had a bunch of foreign releases that are dubbed and you can't go 10 minutes
That reminds me of the old kung fu movies, and now I am going to watch some O sensei.
