 Think about it Jim.  Olympics are only a little ovewr a month away,   the players  play in the NHL against each other. They now need to turn their attention to  playing together for a team for their respective country,    They need time to play together  before the Olympics.   What better way to halt the season   to do this,   using  a  fake virus

 Please go and read. Players are backing out. If they are in China and test positive, they will be quarantined in China for up to 3 weeks and not able to return to play in the NHL. This means being locked down in China in solitary confinement. Most players are stating they do not want to take that chance. 

Hard to imagine the stupidity that is out there.
