&#xA;According these threads it should be common knowledge that the US President controls gas prices.  He wakes up and says, "hmm, lets go to $4.50 today just to piss everyone off!".   Don&#x27;t mind the fact that it&#x27;s a global market and oil companies can do pretty much whatever they want and line their pockets, but these old fucks have to shake their fist at something to make their day feel productive
