Griffey is a shell of his former self.  He can&#x27;t play centerfield.  He is a defensive liability.  Quentin in left, Dye in right, neither of them are moving anywhere.  He can&#x27;t be a full time player at this point if he has to play center.  This does&#x27;t do much if you ask me.

I feel sorry for whatever team gets stuck with Jr.  Being a lifelong Cincy fan this is a good thing for us.  I think if the Sox give us $20 and a giant turd sandwich we make out on the trade.

DF&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I think as a DH he should be fine....He is injury proned, but still has a bat...Not like he used to, but on a club that scores a lot of runs he should fit in fine...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I agree with you that he is a defensive liability at this point in his career, but the change in environment may be good for him....Both Seattle and Cincinnati were never going to go anywhere..Picking up a bat is never a bad idea and they didn&#x27;t really give up any big name players and Griffey is, so not too shaby...
