Pretty sure English isn't his native tongue. He definitely wasn't screaming in English when Hugh and I ran the Chattanooga.
Nah, seriously. Pretty sure he's some sort of Asian so he does alright all things considered. We Americans are always so quick to point out someone's lack of mastery of English when we ourselves are have a pretty shit grasp of the language. Most of the world speak multiple languages we struggle with the one. And don't get me started on written English. The spelling, grammar, and overall syntax I see on covers is downright atrocious.

I'm a huge Sunny fan but Jabroni originally comes from wrestling. Maybe it has it's roots somewhere else but it's widespread use predates Sunny by years. It's now a legit part of the lexicon so we know you weren't being racist.

if u say it came from wrestling i dont doubt u....but the first time i heard it was when mac used it in the episode where he wins the radio contest to shoot at the goal at a flyers game........he says the word jabroni and charlie asks him what it means because charlie hasnt headrd of the word before....then mac proceeds to tell him its a south philly word that means jerkoff/jackass.......so that was the 1st time i had heard it.......mac uses it in a few other episodes as well..............one of the best shows on tv, i have seen every episode

I was just ice skating the other day and I was thinking about that episode. I kept saying that I need a full length duster and nobody got the reference.
"What's this??"
"The future of radio."

I was aware of the word ‘Jabone’ long before the Iron Sheik started calling people ‘jabronies’. I always assumed that he was just mispronouncing the word.
‘Jabone’ (Ja-Bone-Eee) is a word that Italian immigrants have used for 100 years, as a form of a mild insult. I am a first generation Italian-American and used that word myself over 40 years ago.
Jabone is not a racist word

@Hugh_Jorgan
So did Jabroni start as a mispronunciation of Jabone? Iron Sheik goes back to days of the days of regional wrestling promotions when what became the WWF had the Northeast region. And much like how in California people of all races and backgrounds pick up words in phrases in Spanish, people of all races and backgrounds pick up Italian words and phrases in the Northeast.
