What we saw in game 2, should carryover into game 3. Memphis got their rust off in game 1, essentially playing meaningless basketball for weeks leading up to game 1, while Minnesota were playing with playoff intensity for months leading into this series, fighting for their spot in the playoffs practically every game, so game 1 was relatively predictable in hindsight. Now, Memphis should roll in this series, not only tonight, but likely for game 4 and 5 too. Towns seems to have lost his MOJO, and Steven Adams is known to do that to fake big men bullies in the paint. Morant knows exactly what it takes to win in the playoffs, and that's to be a team player and pass the ball when that's the right play. In game 1, he tried to do too much, whereas in game 2 his role was much better. This game could be a wire to wire win for Memphis, and the only drama may end up being the last 5 minutes of the game, as the home team typically makes one final run to make the last 2 minutes of most NBA games compelling to watch and follow until the final whistle. However, with a line of -2, there's very little chance this line falls on a Memphis 1 point win, at least based on the way I have handicapped this game, which could end up being a very comfortable 8+ point win.
Best of luck to all Grizzlies backers!
