LOOK NO FURTHER

I’ve gone back and checked some posts and have concluded that no one likes a boastful, immature bombastic hype man. Those types usually suffer from narcissistic personality disorder. They often make me wonder if they are even betting on the games at all (perhaps in the $2-$10 range, not that there’s anything wrong with that) as their purpose seems more to gain adoration than money. You can recognize them if you see any or all of the following:

They use hyperbole to push their bets to the point of obnoxiousness

They sound like silly little boys posting from their mom’s basement

They spit out words and excuses like an adolescent teen after they’ve been caught …………

They sound like a giddy little girl who just got a new doll

They make excuses when they lose like “right side” “fix” “cheated” “bad beat” “house money” etc

They claim people are jealous of them

They pooh pooh a good record as not being good enough because of course they can go 33-0

They use onomatopoeia like “boom”, “pow”, “wow wow wow”, etc

They use metaphor extensively like “let it rain”, “slap em hard”, “slap em in the face” or “gonna close the circus”, “Let’s kill”, “Go go go go go go”

They refer to themselves in the third person

They lie to make themselves seem to be something they are not

You get the idea!

Many of us more experienced bettors have seen hundreds of these types come and go but they do indeed keep coming. Their followers remind me of little puppies sitting on their haunches with their little paws in the air, mouths open, tongues hanging out, drooling and begging > Gimme a winner brother, gimme a winner, jesus loves you brother, I love you brother, we love you brother, gimme a winner brother, gimme a winner brother, gimme a winner brother, yes gimme a winner lover, AHHHHH there it is. Thank you brother. This giver, this benevolent type, acknowledges his army (lol), beams, sucks in that adoration that his narcissism demands, vaguely even caring that it’s sport betting that is the focus here.

Perhaps a poem would be nice here:

I’m a narcissist, I need my fix

Hey I know, I’ll post my picks

I don’t bet but they’ll never know

I’m only here to put on a show

I’m the one they all adore

No need to thank me,

I’M the one I’M posting for

I don’t visit here often and I don’t post often but I sometimes like to come in and see a post where the poster says “I like the under on the bah bah bah game”. What do you guys think? And people respond with legit comments, stats, insights, and debate. I don’t come in for the ridiculous boastful bombastic buffoon, hawking picks like “only I can give you winners brother”. BTW > short term success doesn’t mean shit in this game! Learn to cap for yourself and you won’t need to follow vain insecure dysfunctional narcissistic fools who care more about clicks than winning money!

Idk I get it but you peeps been making a bigger deal out of this dude winning than chic cardinals spewing aids all over the forum so no sympathy.

If you guys wanna make threads condemning behavior on a daily basis might as well aim it towards the biggest cancer on this site, chic-cardinals. Not an overly bodacious user who although may be annoying at times is posting winners. At least the substance isnt brain cell killing like chicks content . Kk **** chick 

Nailed it tofer!   The good news is they go away after a few losing days or if people have figured them out and they start getting negative comments. They'll then create a new profile and act like they just joined covers and then it's rinse and repeat.

Yes, you clearly have some experience with these type of people.  This is definitely a place for a person with NPD to try getting their fix, but I doubt all of them have this problem.  People with NPD cannot handle any criticism, so collectNOW is correct about them going away once the negative comments start.  What about the ones that continue to stay?  I think they might be the 17-20 year old attention seeking kids that have nothing better to do. 

They do make this place more interesting, but any Play or Pick without a reason is just a "coin flip".  I always do my homework and that is what I would advise everyone to learn how to do and Tofer7 says above.

Agree, wholeheartedly! Love the cappers who just Make their pic, and don’t mind a small analysis.annoying are the ones that go on and on and on about their bomb plays , locks of the centuries, and if I lose this I quit but they come right back a few hours later with another play. I do my own capping, but if there is a good capper  I like and he agrees I’m all the more on it

Alot of the people here are simply trying to get something for nothing, i post my plays based on whatever reasons i deem and do not feel the need to explain them, for every stat , there is a counter. And i assure you tofer7 bad beats are not hyperbole.I also agree with the hooker
