Hey guys my online sportsbook wired me 2700 when they were only suppose to wire my 1000$. They acknowledged the mistake and are trying to retrieve it back from me. They ask me to deposit the money back to my account so they can retrieve it .
Ive lost a lot of money through this sportsbook and was wondering if you guys think i should bail out with it.... you think they can do anything if i don't give it back to them?

If you don't give it back, I wouldn't plan on using that sportsbook too much anymore.
However, I'm not sure if there is any legal action they can take. If it's an online sportsbook, it would be off shore (I think) and I'm not sure what kind of angle they could take with it.
It'd probably be the honorable thing to return the money... but I DEFINITELY know where you're coming from. I'm not sure what sort of connection they would have with other online sportsbooks because that could affect your standing w/ them as well.
So, to sum things up: I have no idea. ||cool.gif' border=0>

i would think your name and e-mail address would be red flagged, so tough to get going at another book. make the outfit commit to some bonouses and free plays for returning their money

Return it. IMO. Last year in NBA Playoffs I gave my book $500 as a "gift". In the long run it always pays to be honest. Once I had a godawful week and was down to the tune of $10,000 and my guy said don't sweat it pay me when you can. I never had to because I won it all back and then some, but what i am saying is he could've been a dick about it and cut me off until I paid up. Trust me, no matter what people might say, gambling is IMO an "honor system" thing and you should give it back.

Dear Korea1687,
You sound like an honerable man.Sir these waters swim with sharks. When you signed up with this book didi they let you do a bank wire transfer for free to load your account. When you called for a withdrawal did you get your money sent back by bank wire transfer?FOR FREE TOO ! Or did you have to pay for DSL,UPS Fed EX or whomever to deliver a very late check. Was this service free? See all these things are promised for free and when withdrawing money suddenly start costing money.Nowhere that I have ever gambled have I had to pay to get paid for winning a bet. When you made the bet were you able to make one bet,win ,and request immediate payment.I doubt it. Most online casinos make you cycle your money several 100% before they will let you withdraw a cent. What I'm trying to tell you is KEEP THE MONEY and get yourself a bookie or drive/fly to a casino where you will be paid immediately with no bullshit. It's your call Korea but these people are the scum of the earth land sharks that prey on people online solely so they can basically rip them off without having to face the repercussions that the face to face casino people would never in a million years try.Trust me on that one too Korea. I can honestly tell you I would have blown away several of these pieces of shit if I only knew where they were. The same guy ripping me on line gives me my money in vegas without the bullshit and I don't have to risk incarceration becuase some clown wants to think he can rip me off.Understand Korea.Trust me ,they would do the same thing in vegas but can't because you are in front of them. It's the actual possibility of arrest and violence that keeps these guys straight. Not there sense of fair play and honer. So fuck every last one of em and KEEP THE MONEY||an_cannon.gif' border=0>
