Records DO matter

There was a post by fizzle, using his alias it's all a dream. His usual nonsense, "GUARANTEED WINNER!!!" "BET YOUR HOUSE!!!" 

Someone posted a warning to bettors about him, and his losing record.

The next reply said, "I wish I saw that earlier. I bet on his play today because he sounded so confident about it, and I lost money."

I saw another thread. Cheater Boy lagame got caught doing what he always does - hiding losses from his last plays. One of the guys posted his real record. Then one of the "Shoot the Messenger" crowd spouted off with, "Nobody cares about records here. Where are YOUR picks?"

Did all of you get the survey he sent out asking if you care about records? I didn't (<- sarc). When people like that say "Nobody" what they really mean is they don't care. They believe their opinion is fact and no one else matters. In other words, they're narrow reminded and self-centered.

Records DO matter.

The majority of visitors here are viewers, not posters. There are far more readers than writers. They come here looking for a winning handicapper to follow. To them records, honest records, DO matter.

They matter a lot.

Now let's get to the "Where are YOUR picks" guys. Show me in the rules section where it says picks are required. You can't. It doesn't exist. The purpose of the forum is to provide info to help bettors make informed decisions. Picks are just one aspect of that. Weather updates from locals and injury reports are others. And so is when forum members expose the insecure attention ho's who cheat on their records trying to fulfill their limp egos. And forum members who expose them are valuable contributors, not haters or trolls. 

The majority of people who come here do so to look for picks. Records DO matter.

It does matter. Like Veritas says.....a great majority of the public is passing thru and viewing. It's disingenuous to not have a transparent record and units.

Record 1-4 but still making money.  How you figure?
