To try and rewrite history, Downplay Jan. 6

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee used a Wednesday hearing on
the federal government’s response to the Jan. 6 attack to downplay the severity
of the attack, defend the rioters and even promote conspiracy theories!

Rep. Andrew Clyde  (dumbass Republican from Ga.)
took aim at the common characterization of the attack
as an “insurrection,” which he said is a “bold-faced LIE!!”
 -- actually claiming the attackers breached the Capitol in an
“orderly fashion” that resembled a “normal tourist visit.”

Rep. Paul Gosar (dumbass redneck REPUBLICAN from AZ)

was one of the most fervent  defenders of the attackers,

calling the Capitol Police shooting of Ashli Babbitt as she UNLAWFULLY tried
to climb through a broken window and breach the chamber an “execution”
and accusing the Justice Department of “harassing peaceful patriots.”

*NOTE: over 400 of these so called "peaceful patriots"

have been arrested and charged with felonies

Rep. Andy Biggs (dumbass redneck REPUBLICAN from AZ)

attempted to downplay the attack by comparing it to last summer’s
Black Lives Matter protests, playing a video of an assault
on a federal courthouse in Portland that became a lightning rod for
GOP calls for “law and order.”

*Soooooooooo.....calls for "law and order" when BLACK people are
righteous protesting the brutal murder of George Floyd by police,
but angrily storming the Capitol immediately after adolf-trump's
disgraceful speech - based on 'THE BIG LIE' - and calling out his
own VP as some sort of traitor to Democracy - and WHITE terrorists
shouting "Hang Mike Pence!" ......well, that's OK??

Just normal tourists attacking police officers and destroying things?  Apparently, delusional republicans don't know the difference between tourism and terrorism.

No criminal charges for the person who murdered Ashli Babbit in cold blood on 6 January 2021! Are you kidding me?

You should demand answers from your racist leader, adolf trump, and his accomplices.

They were still in charge when this occured on Jan 6.

The one thing we need to understand about these Trumper Republicans is that they have NO Shame. They will bend the knee and kiss the A$$ of Fat Donnie at all costs. No one with any sense of shame would seriously try and defend those violent Capitol attackers. Sad era in American history. 

In all fairness, most of the George Floyd protestors were white too.

Hmmm..... there were quite a few whites protesting the injustice and systemic racism that I could see in videos, yes, but I haven't seen any stats that determine most of them were white.....although it's possible.  I doubt it would be an overwhelming majority though.

OTOH, the trump-incited mob was empirically an OVERWHELMING MAJORITY, about 95% white.

I am not aware that any of the 400+ charged with felonies from that terrorist attack are black.  If any, it would be no more than a few at best.

Maine yes most of the blm  protestors were white or a non African lineage. 

We are 96 % Caucasian,  you utilize what there. 

Of course the amount at carnage amounted to a little graffiti and what could be considered noise pollution with mega phones above 100 decibals but out side of a couple of shots fired we remained mostly at peace.

some of the rioters were left-wing plants by taking issue with
the characterization of the rioters as “Trump supporters,”
stating
“I don’t know who did a poll to say that they were Trump supporters.”

*His implication is obvious: he wants to deflect from trump having been
guilty of inciting mob violence, and in effect suggest it was leftist
Biden supporters who stormed the Capitol building
to STOP THE CERTIFICATION OF JOE BIDEN AS PRESIDENT?
