Stop the hate for Straightbets!!!

I am perplexed every time I log on and see the venomous words these guys spit at straight. What purpose does any of it serve? He has a right to post his beliefs and his picks. No one has to buy in to his story or his leans. Making educated predictions is the best any one of us can do. And in my opinion straights is one of the best. I do not consider myself or any of the polite and loyal straightbet followers "sheep" or anything remotely resembling sheep. Anyone who blindly tails runs the inherit risk of losing. No one here claims to have all the answers to the test!!! Because he says it won't lose, means he feels very strongly that it won't lose, but he's not a friggin time traveler! He can say whatever he wants, and you as the reader, decide what to do with what he says. You guys need to be more accountable for your decision making and stop crucifying him for how he says his takes! Does it really matter if he is or isn't a booster??! Does it matter what size units he bets with? Maybe to the guys who can't manage money, or can't pick winners! But the rest of us enjoy his posts and will continue to read them with gratitude! The chooch dudes who pollute his threads with nonsense make us all laugh in disbelief that there are guys who have so much hate in their hearts. If you spent as much energy on your handicapping that you do on your slandor, you would probably be a decent capper with an ever expanding bankroll! For the rest of us, one love, and prosperity for all!!

yea, I don’t really get it either. He wins some and loses some. Just like everyone. He’s never nasty to anyone. For some reason though that dude is just a lightning rod. 

The problem for many vets and long time members is that there is a lack of accountability, honesty, and transparency. He carries a history of posting and retracting plays, fabricating his record, calling certain losses "tout" and "bookie" plays listed in an effort to intentionally lose, which is absurd. He also spams the board with 10-15 threads per day, which clutters the entire forum. I have seen he has been warned by the Covers team about these issues, but continues anyway. He is already back at it today lying about his record over the past two days. For example he was 9-8 Saturday and lost most of his plays yesterday I believe (2-4), but comes back with he was 21-10 the past two days, which is untrue. It's clear it is a ploy to keep getting views and followers, and appears to work. Anyway, I am learning to just avoid his threads if possible, and let this run it's course. If Covers does not mind, we all just to have to live with it in the meantime.

I think the point that Chalk was making is that people should be accountable for their own bets.  I get why some folks does not like his style or his boasts or whatever.  But ultimately, it’s up to you as the bettor to decide that this guy is a clown or someone worth tailing.  It’s like if you went to eat at a restaurant that claimed to make the beat steak and you thoroughly enjoyed it.  But the next time and the time after that, it taste like crap.  It’s really up to you to keep going back.

And needless to say, any bettor with half a brain should know better than to blindly tail someone.

And no, I am not a burner account or anything.  Just hoping to bring some common sense to the conversation.  I actually thought SB was a great capper on his run when he discussed game line logic, but somehow his account posts turned weirder and weirder.  Almost like it was someone else.
