More than 2 explanations i have found so far. Man, Speilberg first 10 minutes or more told a story that must of had 18 year olds and then some, if normal, crapping themselves. My Father lost a Leg at the D-Day invasion of Omaha Beach June 6 and he was one of the Lucky ones. When Spielsberg film "Saving Private Ryan" came out he saw an interview on TV and he decided to go see it alone at the Movie Plex. He sat in the theatre alone and for the first 10 minutes he wept.
