I think the value is slightly with Oak in this game. If you carefully dissect each pitchers L3 performances, IMO each were lacking command.
Don't be fooled by Sanchez and his seemingly good stats. If you adjust for the level of competition and normalize his numbers, they become below average. Satchel Paige could still shut out the 2013 Marlins, and put up great numbers vs Seattle and Chisox. In his L10 starts Sanchez only faced 2 above avg hitting lineups with mediocre results. Oakland tagged him for 5 runs in 5 innings and Cleveland got 6 hits and 3 runs in 6.2 innings, nothing special.
Parker's numbers are even worse, but not by much.
The books came out with a total of 7 on this game, and it seems way low to me. I see both pitchers getting behind in many counts leading to some potential big innings, or at least the opportunity to bat with men on base.
Detroit being a lock is absurd, and I'm probably betting on Oak, because I think the line should be Det -1.17,
I believe the total is the way to go. OVER 7.

making a lot of money from any post season games will kill you cause anything can happen at this time of the year. two teams produced more than 18 runs at Chaves Ravine today, however i don't think it's weird cause it's POST SEASON!!. i love Anibal Sanchez, however who knows? small play MUST BE much wiser.

Maybe a small play is in order, because of the most recent hitting forms for each team. However my numbers have both starters much worse : .478 +.451 vs LAD starters last night of .563 & .651 as far as command goes and being ahead in the count.
Yesterday's LAD game had OVER written all (over) it, as does this Oak/Det matchup..
I played Oak and over seeing value on both sides.
