Victor Scott II

Vic plays centerfield for the Cardinals who open the season @ LAD.  1st year in the bigs and is only there and came north out of spring training due to a myriad of injuries to their outfield staff. 3 years working his way up to AAA ball last year where he stole bases like a man possessed. Fastest man in the minors last year. 107 bases stolen, I think. So I figured to place a 20$ wager on him to steal a base in each of his 1st 20 games as long as I was getting a fair +EV. Made my 1st wager yesterday on him and he goes 0-3 batting 8th and the LAD put on a clinic. 3 hitter to one guy. And yet he recorded a stolen base and I was paid off @ +225for a 45$ profit. NICE. Went to bed thinking I lost and woke up a winner. Today he is + 215. Does anyone know how this can happen?

Stolen bases aren't easy and homie has to get on base to begin with.

Hey, struct out and catcher whiffed, ran down to 1st. Then he stole 2nd!! This kid wants to stay up in the Bigs and has his goal since he was probably 8 years old to make the Majors. Hope it's not just a cup of coffee and he sticks. Play so well they gotta keep ya type mindset.

Promised Johnny I’d check into his thread.  Great to see all the old timers still posting.  Been across the street at SBR most every day.  
My thoughts on this is that you should be very careful about one man prop bets.  With legal gambling in almost every State now it would be easy for a guy like Scott to bet on himself and lose the prop.  Al la Temple basketball game.  

Victor, If you can't hit the curve you can't play in this league. AB- 17, R3 H3 S.O. 6 = 1 SB in 4 games. Must abandon this prop as the +EV is staggeringly low on him. They knows he's fast, I know he's fast but "COME ON MAN!!" Need better odds than +225. Will continue to monitor. Hope he sticks and the Cards are correct on him.
