Denzel Perryman left the game for the Chargers. As I've mentioned before, he's the Chargers best run defender. Texans run game can take advantage of this. Worried, but just a little.

I hate to admit it, but I like the Ravens minus 9 too. I’ve seen both teams play. Pittsburgh is a hot mess. The Ravens are clicking. King Henry prop bets need to be seriously considered.

I actually don't fault the coverage on defense in there busted play Stroud was able to make something of. It all hinges on the Chargers offense in the 2H. Not too worried about the defense.
In the past 3 games, Chargers have averages 19.3 points in the 2H. Second best in the league. The Texans, much worse at 5.3. It's playoff football, so there's a chance the trend doesn't continue. But it's such a huge disparity that I feel good about rolling with these 2h bets. BOL

-$720 today and the Chargers get knocked out. Not a good idea. My hat goes off to Demeco Ryans and the Texans. They had a great game plan.
Herbert looked off. Locked in on his receivers, which he doesn't have a habit of doing, but something tells me he knew his Oline was going to be shit today. Before game time, it was a bounced Salyer would replace Pipkins at RG (no biggie, I would've thought that was better actually), but the pas rush really rattled Hebert. He only 3 three INTs all year, but threw 4 INTs in this game. (One wasn't his fault.)
We have 80 million in cap space next year. My wish list is:
Focus on the IOL Take the pressure off Herbert and give him time to throw.
Give him a deep threat at WR. Its a piece that's been missing for the offense since he's been drafted. He's for one of the best arms in the game and he rarely gets to use it. He had Mike Williams but he wasn't fast. Just a contested catch warrior.
Re-sign Dobbins and draft Cam Skatebo. Gus Edwards has been useless
Hire a new OC. Roman isn't it, although he showed me in some games that he can can adjust in the 2H. We need a more creative play caller. It won't happen because he's good friends with JIm, but if John could move on, hopefully Jim can too.
Grab a top tier TE in the draft. Loveland and Warren will probably go before they pick in the 1st and I don't know who's the next talented TE in this upcoming draft.
Re-sign Mack and cut Bosa for additional cap space.
I'm gutted over the loss, but these outcomes are the bane of a Charger's game existence.
Sorry to whoever tailed. Cam Hart and Denzel Perryman leaving the guy hurt the defense, but it doesn't explain what we couldn't do on offense.
Sorry to those who tailed based on my write-up. You play the same game against the same team next week and it could be a totally different result.
