Rams are and have been the better team the last 4 years. Upgrade in Qb, Db, o-line, receivers, they have been winning by skin of their teeth. My kid is 25 and he gets nervous on the first tee, one or two bad shots and he’s cooked, heck even 10 handicappers get spooked with one bad shot.This kid is same age and has same brain wavelength, too much at stake for first time in this situation. He isn’t any Joe Montana, those guys come around once in our lifetime if we are lucky to see it. This kid throws one pick, fumbles he’s done. All the bravado will go right out the door and panic will set in. He will be thinking of his gf, his rivals in high school who mocked him, girlfriend who dumped him, wondering if he shouldn’t have had sex the night before, stomach in knots, ready to puke on sidelines before game. Rams were there recently, same coach, same system, better Qb, home cooking, friends in town keeping them cool as cucumbers.
Here me now and believe me later Burrows is great but this game is too fast and too big for a 25 year old kid to win Super Bowl in second year. That’s a lot to ask any veteran yet alone basically a rookie. Don’t buy the hype he’s the next Brady or Montana, wait a year or two then he will chase and win one. I’ll take a seasoned veteran Stafford over an amateur any day.
