He had me meet at a club called “The Hideaway” which is a lounge serving upscale cocktails and the finest bar comfort food you can imagine. Bob picked up the full tab and was the finest of hosts.
From there it was a stone’s throw away from the Ridgefield Playhouse. A cozy 500 seat venue featuring top acts.
We were there to see Steve Vai, guitarist extraordinaire. Bob pulls his vehicle up front row center and we leave it there as Bob says, “They know me here”. LMAO.
Steve Vai spots me 7th row left orchestra in my “Zoso” hat and fires a guitar pick that hits me dead center chest and falls directly into my lap.
Ah, yes, a special night to remember!!!
I wouldn't expect anything less. My bro Hugh is the man.
