On SIA's WSOP page https://www.sportsinteraction.com/sportsbook/index.cfm?section=events&eventTypeID=107 they have 108 players listed.
The favorite is Phil Ivey, at +10000, which on a $1 bet would return $101. The second favorite is Chris Fergusenat +15000, which on a $1 bet would return $151.
So.... if I bet $1 on all players (total of $108) and anybody besides Ivey wins, I would be up at least $40.
Is this correct or am I missing something?

yes but the chances of one of those guys to win are very slim...there should be 5 to 6 thousand people in the tourny...you get 108...that's 1 in 50 to 60....and pretty much getting 1-2 on your money 100 to win 40.
not very good odds.

Try 9k+ in this years tournament I bet. Last year was over 8. Not good odds and not worth it for 40 measily bucks

most people last year were getting in thru online sats. this year it shouldnt be as many. and well known pros will probably not win cause everyone wants to knock them out.

Yeah, I was gonna say this. They are actually expecting less this year because there are less sites that are doing satelites. Poker Stars has already given almost 900 i think, though. And Full Tilt is giving away 100 seats alone in one tourney on Sunday. Really thinking about entering that tourney on Sunday, myself...
And I am gonna place bets on the WSOP like I did last year... it is fun because the payouts are so high.
The people I plan on betting (both to win and to final table) are:
- Phil Ivey (Hes still the best NL player out there) - JC Tran (Having an incredible year.... though not doign so good in the WSOP.) - Alex Jacob - Humberto Brenes (Hes played in 7 tourneys so far in the WSOP and already has 3 final tables and 4 cashes)
You can also bet on the final table when it gets to that time.
