well i made it through day 1, just barely. they had 170 players and 70 are still left i have 36000 in chips, blinds will be 1000 2000 when we start tomorrow. this one guy there is a thorn in my damn side. he was down from the original 40000 in chips to about 15000 and then he decides to miss a half hour of the level after the break for no real reason, anyways he gets back immediately gets aa against kk against the girl thats next to me, doubles up there. so hes at about 30k, less then 5 minutes later he gets aa and i get kk, and he doubles up off me. board had a 10jq out there by the turn, so i have some outs for the river, i miss em of course, that takes me back down to about 40k, what i started with, and ive been between 30 and 60k since that hand. our table breaks we go our separate ways, then with an hour left int he night i find myself at the same table as him. im ont he button with about 30k left he makes a huge raise preflop one guy calls i got 46 suited and i knew he had a big hand i didnt have any real gamblin chips though so i fold, flop was 246 he bets guy folds he shows qq, meaning it would have been an almost sure double up for me. that was pretty much it, the rest of the hands were pretty much small pots i was in.
i mean i have never seen the same guy get aa twice in 5 minutes and get paid by kk both times. hell i cant even remember having aa and going against kk twice in the same session or tournament.

I realize that you and I didnt get off to the best start, but it doesnt mean I dont respect your Poker knowledge.
Tough break in the tourney.
As for your observation on the bullets, I had a guy get it dealt to him 3 of 5 hands...haven't done the math on it, but I didnt need to to know it was a near miracle of mathematics...
What is slightly interesting is he never got paid off on them once...he would raise to 40$ pre and no one called...not once...no KK obviously.
Still tryin to qualify for the WPT in Niagara myself. Played in the 460$ satelite which I won top 3 and made it to 1240$ table...was quickly disposed of in 6th there.
Will be trying again.
GL in the future.

o well i really felt liek that kk aa hand was the turning point for me, if i had sucked out on him, i would have had a great chance to at least make the final table. the field was a lot tougher then i had anticipated, there was a good amount of out of towners in to play.

i have seen aces 3 striaght hands for the same guy, he didnt even get called preflop either on any of the 3 lol. i have never seen a guy get aa vs kk twice in 5 minutes ever, nothin even remotely close. they way the hand played out i suspected he just might have them again, but i couldnt get away from it, he was pretty loose the whole tournament to tell you the truth.

One more thing to take note of: The original Niagara Casino as opposed to Fallsview(within 1 mile of each other on the water) hosts a daily 70$(its in the downloadable brochure).
The best odds is the 460$ that pays top 3 to 1240$ table(4th place replays 460$ sat.)
You must WIN the 1240$ to earn your 10k seat. 2nd place gets a replay to the 1240$.
All in all, not a shabby opportunity.
I will be trying the 170$ this weekend as the winner get auto 1240$ ticket. The talent pool is usually a bit more dilluted at that price from what I've observed, so I will test the theory that it may be easier to take that one.
