bad beat jackpots...i found this funny...it hit 2 times in 3 days

hers in vegas the stations casinos have this bad beat jackpot..so it starts at 150,000  loser of the hand gets 45k winner 30k and the rest is split between everyone playing at all the stations poker rooms at that time

 

so this thing was up to almost 500,000 (the fact that they raked a half a million from all their games makes me laugh, its a joke) but it hits on wednesday at 11pm and everyone got $631

 

i was there in june it was 190k and it hit and i got 451 so pretty funny that it was that high and thats all people got

 

then it hit again friday morning at 7am ..it was only about 155k total but because it hit at 7am the 40 lucky bastards that were playing ended up with 2k each...and you know most of them were down because why else are u still playing at 7am

 

i found it funny that it hit 2 times and the time when the thing was huge it paid 650 bucks

 

 

BTW if you hit it and got 45k how much would u tip?  i would give em like 800 bucks. is that cheap? its 800 bucks more than they wouldve gotten

ok...i heard one dope at the table last week say to a dealer...i use the 5% rule, im thinking you are gonna give this guy 2250?  really?

when I won 25 grand on carribean stud I gave out $500 to the dealer and $100 to each player.   A grand total.

I guess i would have to tip but why would i want to tip someone who dealt a hand bad enough to qualify as a bad beat...

Played a Harrah's in Tahoe about 10 days and was player at a table with a bad beat

 

I got $7.

 

It was hit the day before for $33k

You should still tip as ultimately you did "Win"...If you got 45k...and depending on how much you normally make should constitute what your tip is. If you are a player who plays often and such Id say 1k-2k would be fine..if you are arare player...id say 750-1k...
