I would have called the river, I would have also bet the turn, maybe bet a little more but the result would have been the same. Nothing you could do it a spot like that. Only possible fold in my eyes is if you are first to act and you bet, then there is a raise AND a reraise before you act again. Then I fold if the players are not wild types. Only other difference is I may raise on flop, people rarely raise, especially in low stakes game with the nuts. It gives people impression you are on draw. It also builds pot for later raises. Also the best result is if you have to showdown people see you raised with a monster hand and it gives you alot more bluffing power later. Good luck crenshaw

your bet out on the turn was ok I guess(not really) but you were checked to and you represent the Ace.River play killed ya,when that board flushed out with the club SLOW DOWN and check, you only had 1 pair and 66 at that.to call that raise was bad unless you were pot committed or something,I dont know your stack size

You messed this hand up by only calling on the flop when you had the nuts right there before the turn and river. If that was my hand i would have reraised for at least 40.00 and then you would have taken it down right there. Instead you didn't isolate your opponents hands and it came down to bite you bad. if one of these opponents happen to call your bet on the turn and then when the river card comes and there are 3 clubs out there you check and if anybody bets ; they have the flush and you play like Tx Dolly and lay your cards down.

A)a bluffer to come over the top which gets u All in against nothing or he folds after Donking off some chips to you or
B)makes the pot much bigger so u can take it down on the turn with a big bet.(where as calling the flop keeps the pot small possibly leading u to think that u were not getting paid enough for flopping na monster.
You are lucky that he did not put you all in on the river really forcing u to descionbut, unlike others i like the $18 value bet against what could have been 2 pr or a spiked ace. good luck

Even a small raise on the flop to allow either

I wouldve played it almost the exact same way. With position you flopped the nuts and it had been bet into you with 3 callers. With no draw and no re-raise (which most likely wouldve been done by a set or two pair) I probably make a minimal raise.
This allows you to eliminate any player with a gut-shot in order to avoid a split pot (This probably wouldve eliminated the eventual winner )
In this scenario with the Ace that gives a draw, I probably still might have check, realistically at this point you only lose the pot with runner runner, I understand a full house is also a possibility but the way the hand was played it never seemed to be a threat out there, therefore if a blank comes on the river someone takes a stab at the pot and you bump it at your likening.
Also by checking the turn you make it cheaper if you end up paying him off

never a total right or wrong way to play it. helps to know the type of players you sre playing, but assuming I was new to the game and knew nobody
Two options pre flop, I like to raise that hand in position on occassion. 1/2 NL with 3 calls in front of me if I raise it I make it 8. Blinds are probably folding. I can then get it heads up with position and play it post flop like a bigger hand or get lucky and get a flop like you did and he doesnt see it coming. You continue to play aggressive on that flop because now he feels you are protecting a big ace or possibly a pocket pair and may try and get you off the hand in which case you go all in and make him call. if he sucks out he sucks out you are much the best at that point.
More often then not though I call and see a flop. Where I disagree with the play is on the flop.
I raise to 20 and make them think. They wont put you on a str8 because almost everyone slow plays this flop with a str8. You hope the open bet hit a set or two pair and comes over the top. Any gut shot to a higher straight draw has to fold to a raise there, top pair with ace kicker would never lay it down nor would you want them to.
Continuing with how you played it on the turn you must bet more there. pot was $26, I would go at least that there. He cant fold for 10 on the flush draw because he has to think he can get another bet from you on the river if he hits.
River he checks which is dumb, but turned out to be smart. He let you off the hook with the check and you played into it. You have to think at that point why did he call my 10 and what hand can he have that he will call my 18 bet on the river. Is it possible he has an A or two pair, very much so and he will pay you off with that but its also possible he hit the flush. You basically gave up your advantage of position when you bet on his check.
Its hard to analyze it after you misplayed it early on.

After the turn I would have turned up the heat to chase out those who were trying to catch a flush.
Good bet after the flop because you wanted to keep the others in. Once that 2nd club came though I would have gone all in to try and push all others out.
