Anyone one won 50K ?100K online?
In one tourney or over the years.
Share your success stories I love to hear about others winning, most of the time I'll I get to here about is peoples outdraw stories and how they "almost" had this big cash
How do you find your hourly? I only know of Sharkscope as a means of finding stats on players....which to be honest I could care less about most of the time until I get down to final tables in tourneys. Most times in tourney play(especially the ones with tons of people at 20-30$ buyins, the decent players are the majority when its down to the last 30 or so...

Tell ya my story for what its worth...started playin on PS and got smoked hard and fast the first few months...then you start to understand that getting them all in in the first few hours of a tourney is not neccessary..remember you are seeing a TON of hands per hour compared to your live cash games...its been my humble experience that waiting for the right cards can easilly double ya up after hour 2 or 3 and put you right in contention without having to play rags just for action...the nice part of online is watching how the other players bet...if I find Im at a table where everyone typically limps, I may limp in good position just to see if I hit trips or a good % draw hand that puts me in a better than avg chance of cashing...not often of course, not as often as I will play that live.
In SnG, I am still up online although nowhere in the 5 figure range...as long as Im playin with their cash, I can tolerate the beats.
I play live at Fallsview in 2-5$ no limit and let me tell ya...its WAY more of a skill game and understanding of your opposition...in online games, you can get booted from tables to other tables at any time in tourney play which really blows if youve acquired your reads on certain players and are just waiting to gut them when they expect it the least.
I play every night in the PS 27.50$ tourney, but have yet to place..its usually about 1500 players and I dont think ive cracked the top 50...but Im usually losing to bad luck and I comfort myself knowing I will usually get mine back in person on the weekend in live games. I LOVE tourney play, but the odds are so against a consistent top 10 finish. Will be trying to qualify for the WPT at Fallsview this year. Time to dream and get in it.

Sorry..as I read it, sounds confusing...I was referring to the difference between my tourney experiences online and my cash games live. Sorry for the confusion.
My tourney experience live has been limited to only two. As I mentioned in another thread, I hope to up that at the WPT in Fallsview in October.
