Ok so Stars, FTB, and UB were shut down. Does anyone think other online gambling sites will be shut down? Is it worth taking the risk to deposit $ into other poker sites?
After reading the press release it seems as though the reason those sites were shut down was because they disguised deposits from us gamblers as merchant deposits. Also, they illegally used 3rd party intermediaries to transfer gambling funds. It seems to me that the sites that are remaining did not have enough volume for the FBI or DOJ to really get upset about. But I feel that now gambling online is a risky business. Online gamblers will now move to other sites. As these other sites revenues go up so will the FBI's eyebrows. I say Online gambler be aware.
