I'm watching last year's WSOP main event. She limps in the hand with 10 10 on the button. The was four people in the pot. This guy had 9 3 in the big blind.
Flop is 992
every checks to her. she bets the guy with trip 9s check-raised her. She moves all in. He calls. He turns up his hand and she acting like "how can he play that hand?!" and it was such a bad beat.
Well, first off she didn't raise preflop. Secondly, what did she expect the BB to do when there's no raise? Fold? Then she decides to push with that board after the guy check-raised her. Well, she hits the 10 on the river and pretended to acted bad for the guy which is an insult to that player and the audiences at home.
She runs around, proudly shows her ass tatoo, and tells people what it says(attention person). I she thinks that tatoo looks good, wait 10 years. It's going to look like a comic book in the rain.

Read somewhere Ben Affleck is getting tutor by her. Saw her on TV and she was getting push around while holding top pair. The no-name player had more chips than she did so she folded. She fold top pair after the flop cause the guy put her all in...so much for being in position.
She won that 2million some yrs ago against some of the top players but she was catching flops left and right against Phil Helmuth when they were heads up.
She is a good player but they are using her for pure advertisement to get the likes of her kind into the poker world....with all due respect to her of course.

Ya I don't mind Annie Duke, there are MUCH more annoying players out there. (ie. Humberto Brenes and Tony G)
But I do agree with you though, that its a brutal play. (I think I remember seeing this hand as well) You can't limp in with 10's to a pot with 4 players already in. There are way too many hands that can crack you and you have no idea what your opponents have. Unless you hit a 10 on the flop its highly likely someone out flopped you and you're now behind.
Pushing all-in when you got check raised? I guess she gave the amateur no respect and put him on a bluff. But hey, shit happens. Pros get lucky sometimes too!

She is a bit of a bich....I'll give you that. She complains about unimportant stuff and can be condescending a lot of the time.
Colonel-
I've seen this hand a bunch of times. My GUESS is that some at the table had been pushing some people around and she certainly didn't put him on a 9 (not to mention her hand strength was disguissed with just a call pre-flop). I think she was more "I can't F-N believe he has a 9" then anything else (despite what she said). A LOT of the pros criticize people openly once the cards are shown....it's a form of intimidation IMO.
I personally don't like her "my $hit don't stink" attitude.......but I'd still screw her any day of the week. She's a workout warrior and I think her body is pretty tight for someone who sits on their ass all day long.
She did apologize quite a bit for the bad beat she layed on him when the hand was over.

You may hate her but until you start playing at the level she's playing at, I don't know how you can criticize her.
so you never criticize a professional athlete?

Fucking right. Remember that guy with the "noisy" vest? If that vest bothers her, she should've ask him to remove it. Instead she gives him friendly smiles, but then later, told the tournament director it was bothering her. She's such a two-faced coward.
I don't know why she's even consider a "pro". I can't remember seeing her make a great bluff or call. Have you?
With the exception of that tournament of champions, she won like two tournaments in her 13year career. That's one in every 6.5 year.

i remember her reaction after she beat her brother in that tourney she one -
it was a big production when the crd came out that beat him, "oh no, oh my god, oh my god i'm so sorry, howard" - he wanted just hug her and get out but she wanted to hold him - you could see him trying to pull away....

She does play poker for a living. And won the tournament of champions. Not exactly chopped liver.
And I agree, I don't recall her ever making a huge bluff on any telecast I've ever seen. Along those lines, I haven't seen you post about a great bluff you made either.
Not trying to totally defend her, but she's has had some success.
I do agree completely about the jacket.....just ask the guy to take it off.

from just watching her on tv,shes a terrible player... She gets intimidated by anyone that raises big... many times i have seen her with a great hand and someone raises big and she folds.. I think thats one reason that there arent many good women players... Sometimes you have to be very aggressive and you just dont see that out of the women.... most just play big hands and when they go against someone good they usually fold.....Attention all women poker players,be more aggressive and you will win more..
