So despite the fact that I told myself not to deposit my into my 5dimes account unitl began, I went on and sent $1000 & change w/ fees reimbursed into my account.
There was some dust left because I hadnt used it in a while, something new they have since the last time I used it was poker.
After losing about $75 on the Bobcats 1st qtr line I was so I chased. And said fuck it, transfered the from the book to the poker room.
I used to only play at cardrooms but I found it somewhat easy today, no disrespect to the online players but it seems like there is A LOT of dead out there.
Well, I'm done for day 1 and my account now has 3k for and I'm .
Anyone feel like online is easier than live? Viceversa? Thoughts?

Live is generally softer. $1/2 NL live in Vegas is absolutely terrible online better but still very beatable. I prefer online though, alot more hands per hour and less rake.

there is a very old urban legend about first time players in an online card room....seems like everyone who I have ever met crushes the game the FIRST time they play....
i'm not one for the whole fix thing in online poker but I will say this...
I have been playing online since 2001....I have met 100's of online players in real life playing live Tournaments....and about 99% of them all have the same story you are talking about....
in fact every single time I have ever opened up with a new Poker room I have crushed the game with so much ease it's scary....so much so that for a while (back before the online gambling act) I used to open up with a new room and play much higher limits than I was used too.....every single time crushing the game.....then I would stick around for a couple of months playing at my normal limits at my normal win rate then cash out and move to another room
again I am not one for beliving in online "fixes" but the story about the newbie crushing the game the first time at a room is very very very old....
just a heads-up and nothing more....dont quite your job thinking your going to become an online pro.....
best of luck
