Interesting forum here. I normally just troll in the NBA and NFL section but this is very interesting as I play my share of poker. Usually I stick to the real thing but I have dabbled in online every now and again including over the past holidays.
Anyway.......Check this site out. I haven't actually looked at it myself lately, but in the past I found out some things that truly scared me about the conduct of some poker sites. Have you ever noticed how after a deposit you have some good luck and just when you think you have it sorted out suddenly you get a barrage of ridiculously bad beats? I mean hands that just defy the odds once in a while and suddenly you get several in a short time? This often happens to me in online tournaments. Well according to these guys it is no coincidence. Sure....Pokerconduct may be full of some sour grapes and lately my site Sportsinteraction seems to be running quite fairly so I really don't have much to bitch about right now. But if you have any suspicions about online poker or if you just like a good conspiracy story or two......this is the place. There is a crapload of information here. Take some of it with a grain of salt……..But some of it makes total sense.

It is in the sites best interest to offer a fair game.
How exactly does the site make money by giving someone bad beats? The house makes money when it rakes the pot. NOT when a player loses money to another. There have been arguements made that they set up hands so that there will be action in cash games to make bigger pots, which makes higher rakes. But in tournaments, the house only takes an entry fee. They have nothing to gain by knocking you out of a tournament.
The poker sites make so much money already, that they wouldn't risk it by making it unfair.
It simply doesn't make sense.

Anyways, the only people who claim that online sites are rigged are losing players. They need an excuse.
I'm a winning player and there are times where I think some sites "rig" hands. Just part of the mentality of not being able to truly trust what you can't physically see. If I'm at a casino, I see the dealer and other players. Online, you never know, especially with some of the wackos in this crazy world of ours

This story proves that online poker is fixed, well at least I think. Listen to this story.
Friend of mine, sick player, made 30k playing live games in about 3 months. Decides he will put 15k in an online account as he had to move from Chicago to a small town with limited poker games. Well he doubles his account immediately and has 40k in front of him in a no max buy in table. Most players have about the same in front of them. He gets dealt pocket sevens (no raise preflop) in blind.
Flop 7h, 7s, 5 h
He flops quads.
guy in 1st position bets and gets raised by another guy, another guy reraises him. My friend just calls the 5k bet. First raiser makes it 10k and the other raisers folds. My friend decides he does not want to fuck around and raises 10k with quads (not sure why but he did). Guy goes all in for 30k more. My friend calls his last 30k. Guy had Ace of spades and nine of hearts. Turn 6h, river 8h. Straight flush to beat his quads. Nobody, except pros with huge bankrolls goes all in with ace high there to a reraise from the blind. At minimum my friend had the third seven. Online is fixed. They let you win and see how much you are willing to risk, then take it all back. Be careful guys
