has everyone seen the commercial for survivor? i hate that show with a passion...theres been about 85,000 seasons, and i for one and extremely tired of it
but that crazy mofo, JR bellande is going to be on it this season! should be juicy, cuz i can def see him getting far and playing the game well and fitting in with the other snakes on the show. anyone else gonna watch just for him? represent POKER

yesir that man certainly coined this phrase....first time i remmeber hearing it was thar bracelet event with harman, doug lee, and ivey
that actually is one of my favorite events, not really sure why, maybe cuz when i first saw it i was really rooting for a JR meltdown cuz i REALLY hated him at first. and it came....and he was knocked out in 4th i believes...and there were a lot of pros at that table. gabriel thaler too
but since then, watching more and more of him, JR's dry humor has grown on me, and im gonna enjoy watching him on survivor

I love the one (I think it was a US Poker Championship) where he is talking about how he is a club promoter in LA and he is rising in a limo with like five smoking hot chics and you can tell they are all pay-to-play. Then he gets in the club and he is dancing, classic comedy.

I remember when I first saw the shows commercial referencing that a poker player was going to be on show. I don't watch survivor but I remember thinking it would be some nobody who is really a half ass poker player. I almost felt out of my chair when I saw it was a true poker pro. I will tivo this season for sure.
