Went to New Orleans this past Saturday. Register for the $500 N/L event at 10:30 AM. Tourney started at noon so I sat down at the 2/5 N/L table to kill time. Well, I was up 700 in 30 minutes thanks to this idiot. Then I was in the BB. This Arab guy makes it 40 in late position. This old man calls. I call with Qd 4d(gotta play my rush).
flop is Q 4 3 it goes check, check, check
turn is 4 it goes check, check, check
river is a 5 I bet 100. Arab guy think about and then calls. Old man folded.
I turn over the hand and won the pot.
Later that night, somebody told me that the arab guy was Adeeb Harb, probably best pot limit Omaha cash player out there. I've heard stories of him, but most people don't know him because he doesn't play much tournaments. From his profile, you can see that he was the back to back Annual Five Star Poker Classic Champ. He was 11th in the event before that.
Shit. If I knew that it was him, I would've much my miserable Q4.
BTW, I got busted out of the tourney real early. Cash games...I won about 1000. Will be back next weekend.

thats cool you got a chance to play with him, but i really cant stand the hendon mob. Also in terms of omaha Robert Williamson is a pretty amazing tournament player as well, check out his WSOP omaha cashes:
2004 $2,000 Pot Limit Omaha - 2nd place ($103,580)
2004 $2,000 Pot Limit Omaha - 11th place ($7,160)
2004 $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha - 14th place ($18,000)
2005 $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha - 2nd place ($353,115)
Nice profit in the cash games
