playing in a 100 satellite for the 1000 dollar tournament they have at the end of august. 21 ppl 2 seats 3rd gets there money back. theres like 13 14 left 200 400 blinds 50 ante i get aa under the gun. 2 of the players after me are making bigger then usual raises about 7-10 times the big blind and the other one keeps making small juicer raises even when ppl limp in. so i limp in. the juicer man throws in a 1000 dollar chip. folded to small blind he puts in the 200 chips for the call of 400 then big blind quickly checks and the lady next to the juicer man says "he said raise", so now my hopes get up that i will get the repop i want. dealer says, "i didnt hear the raise" and asks the guy if he still wants to raise he says no they call the floor over. i didnt really want to say anything because i dont want to give away the strength of my hand. anyways floorman says to the guy do you raise and he says no and i was like fuck so they allow the limp flop it comes kj5 rainbow. big blind bets 3000 which is an overbet and im a little leary because its an old man that never bluffs but anyways i make it 7000 and guy who wanted to raise pre goes all in old man also goes all in behind him and i fold the aces in disbelief. old man has k5 and other guy had flush draw and k5 holds up. so anyways i still have about 12000 left when im under the gun again with only 6 players now i get qq i make it 1800. guy next to me calls (he was callilng a lot) everyone folds and big blind goes all in for about 7000 i go all in behind him and then guy behind me about even in chips also calls me. big blind has kk guy behind me has k9 of dimaonds of course the case k comes out on the flop. (k106 10 and 6 diamonds so he had flush draw too). turns the jack of spades so i have a chance suddenly but river was a blank and all my chips except 200 were gone and i was out next hand. i couldnt believe the floor decided to allow the player to rescind his raise when i had aa though, has anyone ever seen anything like this at a live casino?

yeah sometimes raises aren't clear, and if the dealer doesn't hear the raise what can you do. Some dealers aren't payng much attention anyways. Maybe you should have raised some with the Aces though, you don't want too many callers as the strength of hand goes down with each caller. AA is a hrd hand to improve on, and if a lot of players have 2 live cards then someone s bound to put 2 pair or better on you.

obvoiusly when you limp with aa youre thinking that it will be raised and you should be prepared to play it safe if its a limp pot. i dont do it often or everytime i get them under the gun but i had a pretty good feeling that it would be raised or even overraised so why wouldnt i limp in.
