I don't know what cover members play or what not; so just checking in to say hi and ask a few questions....
 
1.) Any poker pro's in this forum? IF YES
 
what limits do you play, what is your schedule like, what game(s) do you play (yes folks there are other games besides NL holdem)...
 
2.) Any online players? IF yes
 
what site and or sites?
 
3.)Any bonuswhores out there?  That is how I started out... There is a lot of money to be made being a low-limit bonus person...

good afternoon and welcome to the forum .This forum is usually dead compared to the other forums on covers but there are some good discussions and so forth some of the time .I love poker and i used to primarily play live untill the last couple of years where i have played on line at full tilt and poker stars exclusively
 
i play nlhe and i play pl omaha and lately been learning some of the other games like horse which is a combo of holdem , razz, omaha , and stud.  I dont consider myself a pro but i was playing poker and nothing else for a period about a year ago . i have made some nice money considering all the variance and so forth . I used to love playing tournament poker but i just dont have the attention span to sit for 8 hrs str on line (if u go deep)
 
i play 5/10 nl when i play or should i say i wont play bigger limits at nl . You are right when u say there is alot of dead money at the loweer levels 1/2  2/4 5/10 and i play 1 or 2 table sng for a fewhun buy in because they dont take long lol

I'm like angelo........used to play live frequently but really don't play live at all anymore, only very rarely. I prefer live to online but a family and a job get in the way of spending hours at a casino!
 
I play online at FullTilt right now.......not logging as much time as I'd like, but it's good enough for me at this point in my life. I play Hold'em, both limit and NL and also enjoy PL Omaha but that's about it. Every once in a great while I'll venture into a stud game, but I don't pay close enough attention to the cards for that to be a good game for me. I'm still able to get a check from FT every month, so I'm doing OK........but definitely not a pro, I make my living in the "real" world.
 
As for tourney's I don't play any big ones, I just don't have the time. I play single table SNG's and do alright........ROI is about 13% at $20+2 tables, so I'm no shark, but I hold my own in spite of the leaks in my play. I play both bigger and smaller depending on time and what tables are close to starting.
 
In my opinion the online games have become much tougher since Party left the US market. I think most of the truly recreational players from the US left the game. You have to be a lot better to make less money nowadays, in my opinion anyway.

I didn't like Gold's push with the set of Kings at all..........the only way he gets called is with AJ......and the way the hand was played AJ was a very real probability. Not surprised at the way the hand went down just didn't like Jamie's push........

i mean he was talking all that garbage the whole nite trying to set up the bigbluff and then he pulled that move   lol

Angelo and mmacc,

I played full time for awhile, clearing bonuses was a great way to make money... Lots of hours, but decent paychecks... I was makeing a lot of money betting baseball so I put poker on the back burner... Nowadays, I try to play 4 NL tables per night for 5 to 6 hours with a specific goal in mind... Play the 1/2 NL they have been profitable for me (If it aint broke don't fix it)...

I played live for awhile, really enjoyed 10/20 and 15/30 limit... Not a lot of players in my age bracket play limit (25 yrs old)... The old time rounders who I played with switched to NL because there were no fish left....

Male, I like to stick to live games and make some solid money playing 1-2 NL.  When I do venture online to play I like to roll up at the 2-4 PLO tables because there is easy money to be made at those tables if you can just be patient and get away from a solid hand with relative ease.
