They don't have to justify it because people will continue to play and pay. I would not play there but plenty will so they will continue to charge unless enough people complain or stop playing.

these assholes rake way too much and then won't pay their dealers a fair living wage. A lot of dealers are my friends , but I wouldn't tip the dealers anything if they were paid fairly. Why do we tip dealers? especially for winning a small pot. Realistically, you should tip the dealer if you win a pot that is about 20 times the big blind, or a few bucks if you win a couple hundred on limit. They drop the money fast enough that between that and the tips you have nothing left. You could play a 6 hour session, win about 30 hands, and tip $30 total, and break even. You thought you played pretty good, and between the rake and the tips that is about $120, so you should have won.

True, true. Red Rock Station's poker room have been completely full every night this past week. I hear NJD, that's over the top.

I absolutely get infuriated when the dealers put MY $1 into the bad beat jackpot and then tell me how I can hit it big for just a small investment. That's as moronic as the Caribbean Stud $1 progressive jackpot or the gimmick side bets in Blackjack.
People think I'm an idiot for not donating to these sideshow scheme bets, when in fact, they are LOSERS who keep thinking that they will be the 1 to hit the jackpot.
I have a brother who works at a casino, and I like several people who work in the industry, but double taxing the customers while basically paying the dealers minimum wage is a scam.
And if 9 people of fairly equal talent sit at a poker table long enough together, almost everyone will go broke due to the rake and the tipping. And unfortunately, casinos aren't going to pay their employees a fair wage when the suckers (customers) more than make up for it.
Winning a few hands of blackjack or poker has nothing to do with the dealer anyhow, so I feel dirty when I actually do tip them for something that they have ZERO control over. And I've never met a dealer that tips me when I'm running bad, which is often.
Playing a multi-table tourney can give you decent value for your money, but cash games are designed to rape everyone as quickly as possible.

DO you think the dealers make the rake guidelines at the casino ?!?!! you are all fucking assholes. they have to put up with so much shit daily from degenerates like myself ie: yelling, throwing cards, spoken to like shit. IF i win any pot i tip $2 and if i pick up the blinds they get $1. If you cant spend the $2 or $1 per pot you win.. DONT PLAY.
